Smoothie Surprise!

Smoothies are a great way to refuel any time of day! Many are great sources of protein and fiber, whereas others have hidden calories. Freshens in has great options, but even those can be a little boring. Read on to see how you can make a delicious smoothie that will put Freshens to shame!
This breakfast smoothie is a good source of protein and fiber, and it will also keep you full and focused during classes:
-1 banana
-1/2 cup fat-free milk
-1/4 cup frozen strawberries
-1/4 cup blueberries
-1 teaspoon peanut butter
-1/2 teaspoon honey
-3 ice cubes
If you want a thicker smoothie without excess calories, add more ice cubes.
This strawberry and peach smoothie is refreshing any time of day! Frozen peaches add just the right amount of sweetness.
-1 cup 1% milk
-2 tablespoons low-fat vanilla yogurt
-1/2 cup frozen peaches
-1/2 cup strawberries
-1/8 teaspoons powdered ginger
